Madam Bovarie's Ovaries

I heard about this book on CBC's Sounds Like Canada this summer (before the lock-out - down with Rabinovich)

The father and Daughter team who wrote this book have taken a Darwinian approach to literature. The motive of every major chatacter is related back to Darwin. It is an interesting approach to literature, accessible to most, but of true interest to English majors.

Microserfs

Microserfs is a wonderful book from Michael Copeland, from his wunderkind of Can Lit. It explores the lives a group of Microsoft Employees and the endless drugery of their lives. Until the majority of them jump ship and create a start-up and then tbe novel takes a sharp left turn. A wonderful book.
